Our playground is so cutting edge, it even features on playgroundcentre.com !
"Halswell, less than 10-minutes’ drive to the Christchurch CBD, is a leafy suburb that’s known for its friendly neighbourhood atmosphere and community spirit. These factors were front and centre when we worked with landscape architects, Xteriorscapes, to build a new playground in Halswell’s newest residential estate, Milns Park.
The goal was to create a welcoming space where families and neighbours could come together to relax, unwind and play, and a whole new generation of kids could have heaps of good old-fashioned fun!
Designed for children of all ages, stages and abilities, the playground [at Milns Park] includes a combination of individual swings as well as a basket-style swing that allows an adult and child or multiple children to swing together. And with a modern seesaw, more towers, more slides and not one, but two climbing structures, Milns Park is a place where the community’s kids will want to stay and play, and return to."

"We are finally building our home [at Milns Park] and are enjoying the process of seeing our home take shape. Too often the hard work that has gone in behind the scenes to make the division a reality goes un acknowledged.
Elena and I would like to say thanks, for the thought planning and determination to make Milns Park a reality. Looking at how long the application has been going for I’m sure yourself and the other shareholders will be feeling pretty good having achieved this stage of development.
We enjoy the little things, the way the spring bubbles through the rock the bridges and bird life that has made it their preferred home. Our little dog Spencer has given his approval too, he likes his walks around sniffing every second flax bush. I’m sure as the stages progress other fun aspects will be added. We wish you all the best with your development of the later stages, and look forward to being part of the Milns Park community."

As Milns Park has no building ties, you have the freedom to choose who YOU want to build with.
To help you make this decision, we have a range of show homes being built to showcase the best our Canterbury builders have to offer.
Standing to our left is Chris from Platinum homes, they have a range of House and Land Packages within Milns Park available now and will have their show home opening early 2020.

Looking around Milns Park it is evident that Autumn has arrived. The well established Oak trees that line along Milns road are looking simply radiant with its burgundy tones. A fun fact to note, the fence posts you see under these trees are actually from the old Lyttelton Port and are used through out the subdivision, as not only fencing, but ground works for our pedestrian footbridge bridge.

We earlier spoke about the playground plans that have been approved by the City Council and now, we can give you a sneak peak on what the play equipment will look like. Encompassing the 'natural look' and nestled in semi mature oak trees the playground at Milns Park blends into the serenity quite nicely.

We've had the final sign off from the City Council for our playground! Our modern playground, which is nestled off Milns Road, is encompassed by existing trees and will be made in a natural structure. When complete the playground will feature a half basketball court, tube slide, swings and see-saw, and of course, no modern playground wouldn't be complete without a scooter track!
